Indiana University

Application Developer | Data Analyst | Game Designer | Writer

Programming has always been both a passion and a pass time for me. When I was younger I used to spend hours on Scratch, and complex configuration files because I was fascinated with the ability to use logic in creative ways.

However, it was not always easy for me. Like many others, I grew up in a small suburb where IT instructors were in short demand so I struggled learning object-oriented languages as a result. Even though I should have came to the conclusion that learning to code was too difficult, I was persistent. I knew developing applications, video games, and data analysis was the future I wanted, so I proved myself through community college and made the dean's list to attend Indiana University. The root of my passion for coding is that it is a form of expression for me. While still captivating in their own right, neither art, music, or film can glue together our favorite things while simultaneously providing functionality and interactivity.
